Purchasing Manager

We are looking for a Purchasing Manager for one of our clients

Responsibilities

• Define and implement the company's purchasing strategy.
• Identify, select, and negotiate with suppliers.
• Manage calls for tender and analyze commercial proposals.
• Ensure cost optimization while guaranteeing the quality of products and services.
• Monitor supplier contracts and ensure compliance with commitments.
• Develop and maintain long-term relationships with partners and suppliers.
• Analyze the needs of different departments and anticipate supplies.
• Supervise orders and control delivery times.
• Conduct market monitoring in order to identify opportunities and risks.
• Participate in the continuous improvement of purchasing processes.
• Supervise and support the purchasing team, if applicable.

Profile

• Commercial training completed by a specialization in purchasing.
• Proven experience of several years in a purchasing function, ideally with managerial responsibilities.
• Good command of IT tools.
• Excellent negotiation and supplier management skills.
• Mastery of French; good knowledge of English and/or German desired.
