Our client is a real estate fund management company based in Geneva, active in the Swiss market. In a context of growth in its real estate portfolio and the launch of a new fund in German-speaking Switzerland, the company wishes to strengthen its accounting team with a profile capable of progressively taking responsibility for a dedicated scope.

Job Description ##

Reporting directly to the Fund Accounting Manager, you will notably be responsible for the following missions: -Ensure the accounting for the new real estate fund dedicated to the German-speaking Swiss market.

-Prepare and coordinate accounting closings as well as periodic financial reporting for the fund.

-Supervise the accounting follow-up of properties in collaboration with local real estate agencies.

-Be the primary contact for the accountants of German-speaking agencies, ensure the follow-up of exchanges and control the quality of information transmitted.

-Analyze accounting data and ensure its consistency with the fund's reporting requirements.

-Provide support to the Fund Accounting Manager on the accounting activities of an existing real estate fund in French-speaking Switzerland.

-Participate in the improvement of accounting processes and reporting tools in a developing environment.

The Successful Applicant ##

-Training in accounting, finance or equivalent training.

-3 to 4 years of professional experience in accounting, ideally acquired within a real estate fund management company, a real estate agency or a comparable structure.

-Good understanding of real estate accounting, closings and reporting processes.

-Very good command of German, indispensable for regular exchanges with real estate agencies in German-speaking Switzerland.

-Good command of French and/or English in order to collaborate effectively with the team based in Geneva.

-Rigorous, organized personality and capable of working autonomously while benefiting from the supervision of an experienced manager.

-Marked interest in real estate and willingness to develop skills in fund accounting.
