Your mission

You ensure the maintenance, enhancement, and development of green spaces and municipal landscape developments. You organize and plan the sector's work in coordination with the head of service and support the employees assigned to it. You ensure the monitoring of tree heritage, the quality of developments, and biodiversity. You also participate in the general work of the service, winter service, municipal events, and emergency interventions.

Your main responsibilities

• Ensure the operational responsibility of the Green Spaces sector
• Plan maintenance work in coordination with the head of service.
• Ensure the quality of landscape developments as well as the biodiversity of communal spaces.
• Perform plantings, trimming, pruning, and landscape maintenance work.
• Maintain parks, gardens, flower beds, watercourses, and their surroundings.
• Ensure the maintenance of playgrounds, urban furniture, and cemeteries.
• Ensure the routine maintenance of the service's vehicles, machines, and tools.
• Participate in the general work of the service.
• Participate in the winter on-call service.

Your profile

• CFC recognized in the field of horticulture, landscaping, arboriculture, or a title deemed equivalent.
• Confirmed experience in the maintenance and development of green spaces, ideally within a public authority.
• Good knowledge of arboriculture, landscape maintenance, biodiversity, and sustainable management of green spaces.
• Ability to organize and plan work as well as to coordinate a small team.
• Sense of responsibility, autonomy, reliability, and ability to take initiatives within the framework of the assigned missions.
• Team spirit, good interpersonal skills, and ability to collaborate with different services and partners.
• Good physical condition, availability, and willingness to participate in winter service, on-call duty, and emergency interventions.
• Driving license adapted to the needs of the position and ease in the use and maintenance of the service's machines, vehicles, and equipment.
