Located in the Vevey region, between city and country, the Cité du Genévrier welcomes adults with disabilities due to intellectual deficiency. A multidisciplinary and multi-site structure, it offers the people welcomed a particularly harmonious living and working environment as well as a set of skills adapted to the needs and aspirations of each individual. Integrated into the Fondation Eben-Hézer, the Cité du Genévrier is the custodian of the moral testament of its founder, Sœur Julie Hofmann. Mission The << Le Laurier >> group is a living space welcoming adults presenting an intellectual deficiency and requiring individualized support promoting well-being, notably through care and activities around the 5 senses. In this framework, educators participate actively in outings, sporting and cultural activities, various leisure activities, as well as camps. In order to complete the educational team, we are looking for a social educator (M/F). Desired Profile * To hold a diploma as an educator ES or HES * To have experience in the field of polyhandicap, an asset * To be comfortable with care and non-verbal communication * To know how to take initiative * To have team spirit and a sense of ethics * Patient, dynamic and creative You master usual IT tools, possess a driving license and are willing to work irregular hours including during weekends.
