The Health Promotion and Prevention Unit in Schools (UPSPS) participates in the development of school health programs for children and young people from 4 to 20 years old and ensures their execution on behalf of the State. The activities of the UPSPS aim to maintain and increase, on an individual and collective level, the physical, mental, and social health of schoolchildren. Implemented in collaboration with families, school professionals, partner services, and organizations, the activities of the UPSPS contribute to the harmonious development of children and young people, as well as to their well-being and their integration into school. They contribute to the creation of a school climate favorable to learning.
The school nursing field plays an essential role by providing advice, expertise, and care in fields related to the physical, mental, and social health of children and adolescents and by conducting prevention and community health promotion activities.

Responsibilities:
Offer advice, expertise, support, and care to ensure the physical, mental, and social well-being of adolescents and young people
Propose interventions promoting the inclusion and protection of adolescents and young people, taking into account diversity and multiculturality
Develop promotion and prevention activities in community health
Profile:
Bachelor in nursing or an equivalent title (for foreign diplomas, Red Cross recognition is imperative)
DAS in community health completed or to be started within 2 years
Minimum 3 years of professional experience, including experience in an extra-hospital environment and ideally with a population of adolescents and/or young people
Excellent interpersonal and interdisciplinary collaboration skills with different audiences
Sense of responsibility, autonomy, proactivity, adaptability
Good personal organization, ability to manage priorities and stress
Ease in using IT tools and writing in French.
Days of presence: Monday to Friday
Workplace: Gymnase du Bugnon: 2 sites ( site de l'Ours; site de Sévelin )
