The health promotion and prevention unit in school settings (UPSPS) participates in the development of school health programs for children and young people from 4 to 20 years old and ensures their execution on mandate from the State. The activities of the UPSPS aim to maintain and increase, on an individual and collective level, the physical, mental, and social health of schooled children and young people. Implemented in collaboration with families, school professionals, partner services, and organizations, the activities of the UPSPS contribute to the harmonious development of children and young people, as well as to their well-being and their integration into school. They contribute to the creation of a school climate favorable to learning.
The school nursing field plays an essential role by providing advice, expertise, and care in areas related to the physical, mental, and social health of children and adolescents and by conducting prevention and community health promotion activities.
We are looking for: A school nurse at 50% Etablissement primaire Gimel-Etoy
Responsibilities:
Offer advice, expertise, support, and care to ensure the physical, mental, and social well-being of children.
Propose interventions promoting the inclusion and protection of children and adolescents while taking into account diversity and multiculturalism
Develop community health promotion and prevention activities.
Profile:
Bachelor in nursing or a title deemed equivalent (for foreign diplomas, Red Cross recognition is imperative)
DAS in community health completed or to be started within 2 years
Minimum 3 years of professional experience, including experience in an extra-hospital setting and ideally with a population of children and/or adolescents
Excellent interpersonal and interdisciplinary collaboration skills with different audiences
Sense of responsibility, autonomy, proactivity, adaptability
Good personal organization, ability to manage priorities and stress
Proficiency in the use of IT tools and writing in French.

Start date: January 1st 2027 or to be agreed
