Workplace Vatel Switzerland in Martigny Start date immediately Type of contract CDI, 100% OUR MISSION In the position of Hotel & Event Sales Attaché, you will be a field person with real commercial strength in order to effectively manage requests from professional and private clientele as well as to prospect and develop sales of our various spaces; hotel, restaurant and events. MAIN TASKS Commercial coordination and organization: * Manage and market the products of the hotel and the restaurant with the various target clienteles of the establishment. * Be the sole interlocutor for the client, from the signing of the contract until the post-event follow-up. * Process the various incoming requests and propose suitable offers. * Establish service orders and transmit them to the relevant departments, acting as a liaison point between the client and the various departments involved. * Coordinate and brief, in addition to internal departments, the external service providers involved in the realization of events (decorators, technicians, entertainment). * Establish the invoicing for event services and ensure follow-up with the finance department. * Elaborate and monitor the budget for each event, ensuring cost and margin control. * Welcome and accompany MICE clients during their events at the hotel. * Ensure an active presence during the course of events to guarantee the proper execution of the services sold and customer satisfaction. * Ensure constant compliance with safety and hygiene standards, quality standards, and legal requirements during the course of events. * Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes and the hotel's event offering. Prospecting and commercial development: * Actively prospect new clients in the Corporate, MICE, Groups, Accommodation, and Catering segments. * Develop and build loyalty with a portfolio of companies, agencies, referrers, and partners. * Develop sales materials such as banquet files, seminars, and brochures. * Perform sales calls, commercial meetings, establishment visits, and presentations of the offer. * Ensure commercial follow-ups and the monitoring of proposals until their conclusion. * Occasionally represent the establishment at trade fairs, workshops, and professional events and fairs. * Ensure regular reporting of commercial activity to Management. * Implement the commercial actions defined with General Management and contribute to achieving the establishment's turnover objectives. External promotion and communication: * Contribute to marketing supports and actions for commercial purposes, in connection with the communication agency and Management. YOU ARE THE RIGHT PERSON IF: * Bachelor's level training or equivalent in hospitality, tourism, events, or commerce. * First successful experience in a commercial and event function, ideally in hospitality or the MICE sector. * Good mastery of standard office tools and social networks for professional purposes. * Knowledge of the Opera Cloud software is a real asset. * Mastery of fluent French and English (spoken/written), German is an asset. * Excellent sense of service and concern for customer satisfaction. * Organized, rigorous. * Able to work autonomously and in a team. * Increased sense of responsibility, reactive, and calm in the face of unforeseen events. * Good communication ability with various interlocutors. * Proactive and creative, particularly for the digital communication part. * Having irreproachable behavior (working with young students). * Flexibility and availability during events taking place in the evening or on weekends.
