Mission description:

Do you wish to practice community-based social work, centered on the needs of the individual, by building tailor-made responses in collaboration with the Geneva social network? Join a team of 7 people within a diverse and dynamic municipality, which turns social cohesion, inclusion, and solidarity into concrete commitments.

Activities:

• Under the direction of the head of the social cohesion service and the delegate for social action, you will propose individual or collective actions for residents facing social, economic, or personal difficulties,
• You will inform them and direct them to the appropriate structures for personalized care
• You will offer them the granting of targeted financial or non-financial benefits with the aim of relieving them in their difficulties
• You will develop close collaboration with various internal and external partners

Profile sought:

• Your HES bachelor's degree in social work orientation social service (or training deemed equivalent) and experience within a social service will allow you to propose individual actions for residents in situations of vulnerability or precariousness
• Thanks to your good knowledge of the Geneva social network and social insurances, you will be able to guide and inform beneficiaries toward adapted mechanisms
• You demonstrate listening, empathy, and respect towards others.
• You possess good analytical and synthesis skills, as well as excellent interpersonal and communication skills
