Reporting to the Purchasing Manager, you will actively contribute to the structuring and increasing maturity of purchasing practices, in a technical, project-based, and multi-stakeholder environment. You will operate in a context where purchasing practices, tools, and processes are progressively being strengthened, with a concrete role to play in supplier security, performance improvement, and risk management. ###

Responsibilities ###

• Develop, structure, and consolidate the current and future supplier panel, in Switzerland and Europe, in order to strengthen partnerships and secure supplies
• Coordinate and centralize needs with project managers and other departments, providing structure, clarity, and a purchasing approach adapted to operational realities
• Analyze needs, challenge requests, and identify optimization levers in terms of cost, quality, lead time, service, and risks
• Contribute to the progressive implementation of more structured purchasing practices, adapted to an evolving environment

Profile ###

• Proven experience in direct and/or indirect purchasing, ideally acquired in an industrial, technical, or project management-related environment. Knowledge of the wood sector is an asset
• Entrepreneurial spirit, curiosity, autonomy, and ability to adapt to an evolving environment
• Excellent negotiation, influence, and coordination skills, with an approach combining firmness, pragmatism, and diplomacy
• Good understanding of cost, quality, lead time, service, and risk issues
• Analytical mind, curiosity, rigor, good business sense, adaptability, and excellent interpersonal skills
• Proficiency with ERPs, common purchasing tools, and excellent mastery of Excel
• Fluent French; German and/or Italian are an asset
