Job Description

La Fédération des Entreprises Romandes (FER Genève) is the reference employers' organization for companies in the canton of Geneva. Within our structure, the Service d'Assistante Juridique et de Conseils (SAJEC) assists its members daily in all matters of labor law, social insurance and work permits, but also for the administrative management of cross-border personnel and international mobility issues thanks to the legal experts of the Pôle transfrontalier et International.

Reporting to the Pôle transfrontalier et International of the SAJEC, you will work on complex cases, concerning notably:

• Management of issues related to business travel, postings, expatriation, including work permits and social insurance coverage.
• Expertise on multiple activities within the EU and EFTA and support on risks and obligations related to teleworking for cross-border workers (mainly social and tax aspects).
• In-depth analysis of international and Swiss taxation, tax domicile, permanent establishment, as well as changes in country of tax residence, and retirement in a cross-border context.
• Provision of advisory services in the form of legal consultations and analysis of specific files, telephone assistance.
• Design and delivery of in-company training sessions intended mainly for Human Resources, organization of information conferences on current topics, writing of articles.

Profile sought

• Holder of a Master's degree in Law (a double Swiss and foreign curriculum, preferably French, is strongly appreciated).
• Confirmed experience acquired within an international company, law firm, or specialized consulting firm.
• Confirmed expertise in the fields of social insurance and international labor law. Knowledge of company law and a good understanding of taxation issues related to employee mobility is an asset.
• Mastery of English is imperative (legal level). Mastery of French is indispensable.
• Additional assets: Lawyer's certificate (Brevet d'avocat), Social insurance specialist certificate (Brevet de spécialiste en assurances sociales).
