Wood Engineer / Wood Engineer

We are looking for a Wood Engineer / Wood Engineer for one of our clients.

Your tasks:

• Design and develop various projects in wood construction (structure, building, mountain construction, historical monument,...) involvement in all phases of the projects
• Technical support for special and fire-resistant carpentry
• Collaborate with architects, clients and internal teams to provide suitable technical solutions
• Perform static calculations, dimensioning and engineering plans necessary for the realization of the projects
• Supervise the implementation of projects by ensuring their compliance with quality norms and standards
• Participate in the continuous improvement of processes and company innovations

Your profile

• Degree in wood engineering or equivalent training
• Proven experience in the field of wood construction
• Mastery of design tools (Cadwork, AutoCAD, etc..) and 2D/3D structural calculation software (DLUBAL RFEM or equivalent)
• Knowledge of wood and wood/metal calculation rules (SIA260/261/263/265 or Eurocodes 0/1/3/5)
• Knowledge of Swiss standards in the field of fire protection is an asset
• Excellent communication skills
• Team spirit
