In order to strengthen its team, it has entrusted us with the recruitment of a Project Instruction and Monitoring Officer ------------------------------------------------ ### Contribute to projects that strengthen international Genève ### Your responsibilities Reporting to the Head of Operations, you examine funding requests, from the concept note to the decision, and provide transversal support to the team in the preparation of files and the monitoring of validated projects. You analyze the submitted files, examine the budgets and financial statements of project holders and their partners, and evaluate the relevance of each request in relation to the foundation's purpose. You draft the instruction sheets intended for the foundation's bodies and contribute to the preparation of donation contracts. As a direct interlocutor for project holders, you collect the necessary information, clarify project elements, with a constant concern for the interest of international Genève. You participate in setting up the monitoring of supported projects (interim and annual reports, impact measures) and contribute to the development of the foundation's tools, notably the application management platform. You occasionally provide support for administrative tasks and are proactive in evolving methods and processes. ### Your profile Holding a bachelor's or a master's degree in international relations, management, or a title deemed equivalent, you have at least five years of professional experience within an international organisation, an NGO, or another actor in international Genève, of which you follow the news and know the actors. Complementary experience in project or program management, consulting, or performance management constitutes a real asset. You question the feasibility of a project in view of its deadlines and resources. Comfortable with numbers, you know how to read a budget and annual accounts and identify points of attention. Discreet, rigorous, and autonomous, you write with ease and exchange easily with interlocutors of all levels. You enjoy working in a small team and demonstrate adaptability in the face of situations, priorities, and working methods that are liable to evolve. You have perfect command of French and a very good level of English. This position is remunerated according to class 18 of the State of Genève salary scale.
