Our Puidoux site, which has 150 employees, is a strategic supplier of metal tubes and high-precision components for medical devices. In a context of growth and strong regulatory requirements, we are strengthening our quality team.

We are looking for a Quality Technician ready to play a key role in the reliability and performance of our quality controls, by providing technical expertise, optimizing our control methods, and supporting our teams on a daily basis to guarantee the conformity of our products.

Mission

Perform quality controls, provide technical expertise to teams, and contribute to the continuous improvement of control methods, while participating in the coordination and smooth functioning of the Quality Control department's activities.

Your main responsibilities

Quality control and technical expertise

• Perform dimensional, visual, and final controls, as well as specific analyses;
• Act as a technical reference for control methods and the resolution of problems encountered;
• Contribute to the standardization, harmonization, and optimization of control methods;
• Improve control ranges and support teams in their implementation.

Coordination and operational support

• Participate in the coordination of Quality Control activities, taking into account production priorities and emergencies;
• Ensure the follow-up of products in quarantine and non-conformities;
• Guarantee the continuity of operational activities by ensuring the replacement of the QC Supervisor during their absences.

Performance monitoring and continuous improvement

• Develop, monitor, and analyze the key performance indicators (KPI) of the Quality Control department;
• Ensure the administrative follow-up and proper documentation of quality activities;
• Actively participate in continuous improvement projects and the optimization of the department's processes;
• Provide technical support to Quality Engineers within the framework of their activities and projects.

Your profile

• You benefit from proven experience in the field of quality control and metrology, ideally in an industrial environment;
• You master various measuring instruments as well as the reading and interpretation of technical drawings;
• You demonstrate rigor, autonomy, and good analytical skills, with a capacity to manage priorities;
• You are comfortable with IT tools and possess good communication and teamwork skills;
• You are recognized for your organizational skills, proactivity, and ability to solve technical problems;
• Knowledge of the ISO 13485 standard and the medical device sector is an asset.
