IT Technician - Long-term mission at 100%

Job description

On behalf of our client, a player in the public sector, we are looking for an IT Technician for a long-term mission at 100%.

You will ensure the preparation, delivery, and installation of IT equipment and participate in the renewal of the workstation fleet.

Main missions

• Configure, deliver, install, and commission fixed stations, laptops, printers, and other IT equipment.
• Participate in the renewal of workstations as part of the assigned activities.
• Configure the BIOS, deploy system images by cloning, and connect equipment to the network.
• Receive goods and check their compliance with delivery notes and purchase requests.
• Record entries, exits, and movements of material in the management repositories.
• Check, clean, and refurbish equipment returned by users.
• Remove equipment references in the relevant tools, notably Active Directory, SCCM, and SecureDoc.
• Respect security instructions during the transport and handling of material.
• Identify situations requiring escalation and contact the appropriate interlocutors.

We are looking for a profile meeting the following criteria:

• Federal diploma in IT and at least three years of experience in the installation and configuration of workstations and printers.
• Valid driver's license and mastery of driving small trucks and vans equipped with a hydraulic lift.
• Mastery of Windows, as well as the office tools Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Good knowledge of Active Directory and SCCM, as well as CFI and ITSM applications.
• Mastery of French, both spoken and written.
• Good physical condition for handling sometimes heavy material and respect for safety rules.
• Sense of service, autonomy, rigor, reliability, and punctuality.
• Team spirit, good interpersonal skills, and professional communication.
• Organization, priority management, and the ability to react to unforeseen events with calm.
• Involvement in assigned activities; management of complaints and willingness for continuous training appreciated.
