Ambulance operational manager - ProVi coordinator (100%)

The Service Protection et Sauvetage de la Ville de Lausanne (SPSL) is an emergency service composed of professional firefighters, paramedics, the advanced medical post, civil protection, the fire police, and the La Rama training center. Its entities are operational 24h/24h. The ambulance service consists of about fifty employees fully dedicated to their mission of rescuing those who request it. Following the creation of a new position, we are looking for an operational manager - ProVi coordinator.

Main mission(s)

Lead and coordinate the personnel on duty (paramedics, ambulance technicians, students) at the operational level and organize activities to ensure an adequate response to the service's mission orders

Assume responsibility for an organizational department within the SPSL Ambulance Staff

Ensure ambulance and SMUR interventions

Perform administrative tasks in relation to the unit's missions

Profile

Ambulancier ES diploma

Additional management training, desired

Federal certificate of paramedic rescue leader CEFOCA-CSAM or training deemed equivalent, an asset

Minimum 5 years of professional experience as a paramedic

Managerial or team leadership experience

Organizational and coordination skills, spirit of initiative

Leadership, adaptability, interpersonal skills and sense of collaboration

Proficiency in standard IT tools

Special conditions

Irregular hours

On-call service

Driving license (cat. B)

Heavy goods vehicle driving license

Clean criminal records (ordinary and special)
