Fixed-Term First Job - Project Engineer

Within the TGE directorate and the Thermal and Geothermal Solutions activity, you will contribute to the operation and optimization of energy installations. Your mission consists of analyzing performance, monitoring service providers, and participating in continuous improvement projects. You will add value to operational data in an environment that promotes learning and professional development. The unit ensures the maintenance and development of energy infrastructures, particularly heat pumps outside the structuring network, in order to guarantee reliable and high-performance operation for our customers and partners.

As part of your function, you will notably be in charge of:

• Carrying out a thesis or dissertation focused on the realities of HVAC operation;
• Developing an HVAC operating guide intended for the branch;
• Analyzing the energy performance of installations from an academic perspective;
• Supporting the operation activity and project management;
• Examining alarms, breakdowns, and feedback to improve reliability;
• Participating in targeted energy optimization studies.

Your personality and skills

You demonstrate curiosity, rigor, and organizational skills, as well as a capacity to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams. Initial practical experience is appreciated. Your qualities are notably the following:

• Progressive autonomy and the ability to seek suitable solutions;
• Rigor and organizational skills in monitoring actions and data;
• Collaborative spirit and aptitude to work with various teams;
• Marked interest in technical installations and the energy transition;
• Ease with digital tools and technical databases (ADX, PowerBi);
• Proactive in a logic of continuous improvement.

Your academic background:

• You hold a HES diploma of Bachelor or Master type in energetics, thermal, or climate engineering and wish to develop your skills in a stimulating environment.

The salary will be calculated on the basis of a reference annual salary distributed over thirteen salaries, depending on your diploma:

• Bachelor: CHF 75'000.-- gross (100% base) distributed over thirteen salaries.
• Master: CHF 78’000.-- gross (100% base) distributed over thirteen salaries.

SIG regularly welcomes young graduates to offer them a significant first professional experience within the framework of a fixed-term contract of one year. The term "young graduates" refers to people who have completed their study cycle within the last 18 months, seeking a first professional experience related to their academic curriculum.
