Active throughout French-speaking Switzerland and employing about forty employees, Groupe Ghelfi is a recognized and innovative company, involved in various projects, from the vertical extension of existing buildings to the construction of high-standing residences, including energy renovations and the construction of public facilities (sports halls, schools).

As part of its development, Groupe Ghelfi is looking for, for its design office Atlante Agence d'architecture, a Project Manager

Mission ##

Orchestrate works from design to handover, ensuring the planning as well as the coordination of all project stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with deadlines, costs, and quality standards. They are the guarantor of profitability and the smooth running of the construction site.

Tasks ##

Preparation and execution of works

Site planning (workload plan, schedule, site installation plan, etc.) and distribution of relevant information to all stakeholders

Execution of calls for tender, submissions, comparisons, awards, and definition of working methods

Coordination of the preliminary design (technical choices, preliminary meetings, etc.) Supervision of site preparation (site installation, requests for authorizations, selection of materials, equipment, and construction machinery, etc.)

Implementation of solutions to optimize results and respect objectives throughout the construction site

Organization of works and adjustments or updates to the schedule

Guaranteeing the application of the PHS (Hygiene and Safety Plan) by the workers

Accompanying and motivating teams to guarantee the planned objectives

Identifying and proposing all necessary actions for the development of staff skills

Periodically evaluating staff and subcontractors

Handling all administrative formalities (documents, contracts, various correspondence, invoicing, filing and archiving of documents, etc.)

Guaranteeing the traceability of different events, and the availability and validity of minutes

Ensuring the complete delivery of the work, including the final account settlement with the Client, subcontractors, and agents

Ensuring the environmental issue of their site: they are responsible and sensitive to environmental aspects, ensures the application of defined standards and tools (general conditions, subcontractor and supplier contracts, PHSE, audits, etc.)

Commercial

Ensuring and maintaining good relations on the site with the client and various stakeholders (client, project manager, control bodies, subcontractors, residents, agents)

Satisfying client needs

Establishing and developing relationships with clients to bring value to the work and/or propose technical variants for better profitability

Architectural

Responsible for respecting and defending the architectural concept and its quality of execution in collaboration with the architect

Controlling execution and fabrication plans in collaboration with the architect

In collaboration with the architect, MPQ/CAMAC, preparing the administrative and technical file necessary to obtain the occupancy permit.

Responsibilities ##

For the smooth running of the execution and the construction site, from the study phase to the revision file according to the terms of the contract with the Client

For the relationship with the Client from the SIA 41 to 53 phase for execution subjects and the success of the project

For the management of subcontractors and agents, or any other stakeholder related to the realization

For the financial management of the construction site (contracts, invoicing, disputes, etc.)

For preparing DT mandate offers to the Client if needed. The control will be performed by the Manager and final validation by the Management.

For representing the company at all times to stakeholders, ensuring exemplary quality of execution and maintaining a professional attitude

For the reconciliation of costs and reporting possible process and technical improvements.

Profile sought

Solid experience in project management

Natural leadership and ability to unite teams

Ability to manage several projects simultaneously with rigor and autonomy

Being proactive and solution-oriented

Between 5 and 10 years of experience in the field
