As sector manager, under the direction of the head of the Service des affaires sociales, you guarantee individual aid services by making them visible and accessible while developing them. You are furthermore the reference person on integration issues within the Administration. Thus, you will mainly be responsible for: * Managing a team of ten people, ensuring compliance with rules and procedures, as well as ethical principles related to the function; * Maintaining strategic monitoring of social issues; * Being a resource for the team, while providing support in complex situations; * Ensuring responsibility for the management of transitional housing; * Managing the sector budget and one-off financial aid; * Being a proactive proposer for integration issues and steering related projects and actions; * Collaborating with other sectors of the service on cross-functional projects and managing projects specific to your field. YOU OFFER * You hold a HES degree in social work with a postgraduate certification or equivalent; * You have practice and solid professional experience in the field of individual and/or collective social work, as well as proven experience in team management of at least three years; * You have a very good knowledge of social issues and the Geneva social network; * You master basic IT tools (Office suite); * You are available to work occasionally in the evening and during the weekend; * Your commitment and sense of public service testify to your full adherence to the values of the Ville de Carouge.
