Weekend worker within the Patient Transport service - 20%

At the heart of the patient journey, you ensure the transport of female and male patients within the institution, ensuring their comfort as well as their safety while respecting hygiene standards and the time limits provided.

This role integrates an important human dimension in supporting the patient. Your sense of listening and your benevolence allow you to establish a climate of trust. Each journey thus becomes individualized care thanks to your interpersonal skills.

You also intervene in the urgent transport of medical material, pharmaceutical products, and biological and blood product samples. You rigorously verify their proper packaging as well as the compliance of the identification data information.

Your adaptability and your ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams allow for the assurance of fluid coordination of activities and a high level of quality, including in unforeseen situations.

Through your commitment, your sense of service, and your empathy, you participate concretely in ensuring quality services in a serene, secure hospital environment centered on patient well-being.

You are a student, preferably in nursing, physiotherapy, or medicine.

A first successful experience in personal service constitutes a valuable asset.

You hold a driver's license for light vehicles.

Your interpersonal ease and your empathy allow you to guarantee the comfort and safety of patients during their transport. You possess experience working in a multidisciplinary team while being able to work independently. You have demonstrated in the past a solid capacity to communicate and to adapt to varied situations.

Your attitude is resolutely positive and oriented towards service and patient well-being, combined with a great capacity for discernment, even in the most delicate situations. You demonstrate discretion and scrupulously respect confidentiality rules.

Excellent mastery of French, both orally and in writing, accompanies a natural ease with communication tools, such as emails and mobile phones.

Finally, you have a good sense of direction and good physical condition, indispensable for accompanying patients on foot or ensuring their transport in a chair and in a bed, involving pulling, pushing, or manipulating equipment safely.

The Patient Transport Service is the link in the care chain. Its mission is to ensure the transport of patients in bed, in a chair, or on foot to operating theaters, technical platforms, and care units. It ensures the guarantee of comfort, safety, and respect for deadlines in order to ensure fluid and coordinated care. It also ensures the delivery of biological samples and blood products.

The Patient Transport Service is operational 7 days a week and 24 hours a day and performs on average 1’000 transports per day, 300 transports on weekend days.
