For our Watchmaking Manufacture based in Saignelégier, we are looking for a

CNC Programmer

Reporting to the Methods and Industrialization Manager, you will lead the industrialization of our new machining projects, from the design phase to series production, while respecting cost, quality, and deadline objectives.

In close collaboration with various departments, you will contribute to the performance and reliability of our machining processes, while providing your technical expertise and support to the production teams.

Industrialization

• Project management: Lead the industrialization of new watchmaking movement components, ensuring compliance with technical requirements, costs, and deadlines.
• Programming & Tooling: Create machining programs and define the cutting tools and tooling necessary for component manufacturing.
• Process optimization: Participate in process reviews with the different workshops to define a consistent industrialization strategy adapted to the constraints of each sector.
• Setup & Validation: Ensure the setup of programs directly on the machine until their validation, guaranteeing the quality, performance, and robustness of the processes.
• Documentation & Transmission: Formalize and validate all elements necessary for process reproducibility (programs, tooling, and instructions), then support production teams during pre-series.

Development & Continuous Improvement* *

• Standardization: Develop and harmonize machining processes, tooling, and cutting tools to improve their reliability and efficiency.
• Industrial optimization: Analyze existing processes, identify areas for improvement, and propose innovative technical solutions.
• Technological monitoring: Follow technological developments and contribute to the development of new machining processes.
• Technical partnerships: Ensure the technical interface with subcontractors and external partners involved in machining activities.

• Team support: Provide daily technical support to production employees and contribute to the mastery of processes during series production.
• Problem solving: Participate in the analysis of technical issues and the implementation of necessary corrective actions.
• Industrial performance: Collaborate with the manager and workshop teams to identify and deploy continuous improvement initiatives, aiming to strengthen the quality and performance of operations.

Your Background ##

Holding an ES Technician diploma, a CFC in the field of mechanics, or training deemed equivalent, you benefit from solid experience in 5-axis machining and master the milling and turning techniques applied to watchmaking movement components. Comfortable on machines, you possess excellent mastery of CAM programming, ideally on GibbsCAM, as well as confirmed experience with automated machining centers and twin-spindle machines, for machining from bars or stamped parts.

Equipped with an analytical mind and an excellent capacity for synthesis, you know how to step back and grasp a machining project in its entirety. Your technical expertise is accompanied by strong interpersonal skills: recognized for your communication, diplomacy, and pedagogy, you promote collaboration and knowledge sharing, while taking into account the needs and constraints of the workshop.

Autonomous, rigorous, and results-oriented, you demonstrate perseverance and pragmatism to successfully carry out your missions. Your spirit of initiative and your ability to propose concrete solutions allow you to contribute actively to the continuous improvement of processes and the achievement of performance objectives.
