Structural Project Manager - Building

Company Description

Our client is a consulting engineering firm recognized for its technical expertise and commitment to quality, active in the field of civil engineering and building. Based in Lausanne, it develops various public and private projects, ranging from residential buildings to complex infrastructures, with an approach based on rigor, sustainability, and innovation.

As part of the strengthening of its building department, the firm is looking for a Civil Engineering Project Manager capable of combining project management and static calculations, while assuming a role as a technical referent for more junior engineers and draftsmen within the team.

Role & Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate construction and renovation projects (residential, tertiary, public, or industrial buildings).
• Perform studies and static calculations of load-bearing structures (reinforced concrete, wood, steel, composite) in accordance with SIA standards.
• Supervise technical monitoring, planning, and financial control of projects.
• Supervise, coach, and support engineers, ensuring technical consistency and the skill development of the team.
• Play an active role in coordination with architects, clients, and partner companies.
• Participate in the continuous improvement of internal processes and the development of the department's technical standards.

Profile sought

• Degree in civil engineering from EPF, HES, or equivalent recognized in Switzerland.
• Proven experience (at least 5 years) in structural calculation and building project management in Switzerland.
• Excellent mastery of SIA standards and calculation software (Cubus, AxisVM, RFEM, etc.).
• Passion for knowledge transfer and ability to unite a team around common goals.
• Rigor, analytical spirit, and ability to work autonomously.
• Good level of French necessary
