Eben-Hézer Lausanne has been welcoming and supporting people with intellectual disabilities for more than 125 years. It promotes a positive view of people with disabilities and places its skills at the service of their participation and inclusion in society. Eben-Hézer Lausanne is part of the Fondation Eben-Hézer, a private law, non-profit organization recognized as being in the public interest.

In order to complete the PICASSO educational team, a living space for 6 residents with intellectual disabilities and associated disorders, we are looking for a Certified Social Educator (M/F) at an activity rate of 80%.

Mission ###

You contribute to the well-being of the residents, ensuring them the greatest possible autonomy in their journey and a living environment that meets their needs and desires. You guarantee daily educational support. You aim for the increase and maintenance of their skills and support them in their social and institutional integration. This mission is carried out in a multidisciplinary team and in active collaboration with the social network.

Responsibilities ###

• Design and implement individual and collective socio-educational support
• Provide assistance to residents in basic care and acts of daily life
• Develop educational strategies adapted to the different needs of the residents (psycho-behavioral disorders, pervasive personality disorders and associated physical disorders)
• Work in an interdisciplinary mode to respond to complex and heterogeneous issues
• Promote the integration of the resident's family and relatives in the development and monitoring of their individual project. Collaborate actively with internal and external networks
• Ensure administrative tasks related to the residents and the educational team

Desired Profile ###

• Diploma in social education CFC, ES or HES
• Significant experience in supporting people presenting psycho-behavioral disorders of various origins and associated disorders
• Interest in the development of communication tools adapted to residents suffering from language disorders, for individualized support and regular coordination of collective activities
• Ease in teamwork and communication, and in the sharing of tasks

Indefinite duration contract.

Irregular hours, work on weekends according to rotation.
