Site Manager

For one of our clients, a recognized player in the construction field, we are looking for a bilingual French / German Site Manager to strengthen its teams.

Your responsibilities

• Organize, coordinate and supervise works on construction sites
• Ensure the proper execution of works in compliance with plans, deadlines, quality and costs
• Supervise and coordinate site teams
• Allocate tasks and ensure the daily monitoring of employees
• Coordinate the various stakeholders: subcontractors, suppliers, engineers, architects and clients
• Plan interventions and ensure the monitoring of work progress
• Read and interpret plans and technical documents
• Participate in site meetings and ensure communication with the various partners
• Control the quality of the work performed and ensure compliance with current standards and regulations
• Ensure compliance with safety rules on construction sites
• Identify potential technical or organizational problems and propose solutions
• Ensure the monitoring of orders and deliveries necessary for the smooth running of the works
• Produce site reports and ensure the administrative follow-up related to the works
• Communicate with the various interlocutors in French and German

Your profile

• Professional training in the construction field or training deemed equivalent
• Proven experience as a Site Manager in Switzerland
• Solid technical knowledge and good understanding of construction processes
• Experience in leading and coordinating teams
• Good ability to read and understand technical plans
• Very good command of French and German, minimum level B2
• Ability to communicate effectively in German with clients, suppliers, employees and partners
• Ease in contact with the various stakeholders
• Sense of organization, autonomy and ability to manage priorities
• Natural leadership and good communication skills
• Practical spirit, rigor and solution orientation
• Driving license indispensable
