In order to complete the buildings & equipment unit, the Technical activity domain is recruiting for the following position:

Project Manager - Industrial Electrical Engineer

Your mission
Ensure the technical mastery of the industrial electrical installations of the building stock, lead renewal and development projects as a client representative (maître d'ouvrage), and actively contribute to multi-domain transversal projects. The holder will integrate into a multidisciplinary team where transversality and collaboration between specialties are a condition for success.

Your main responsibilities

• Ensure the technical mastery of all industrial electrical installations of the building stock: MV/LV distribution, transformer stations, TGBT, control cabinets, generator sets, inverters, charging systems (vehicles), energy storage, photovoltaics, and automation,
• guarantee the compliance of installations with Swiss regulatory requirements (OIBT, NIBT, ESTI); be the reference interlocutor for the ESTI, SIG, and inspection bodies,
• lead renewal and development projects as a client representative: definition of needs, establishment of specifications, monitoring of SIA phases, acceptance of works,
• contribute to multi-domain projects exceeding the strict electrical scope (HVAC, security, safety, energy transition, IT/telecom); collaborate with other technical referents in an interdisciplinary logic,
• provide occasional technical support to the maintenance department: complex situations, project handovers, coordination of interventions impacting operations (planning of outages, lockouts),
• exercise the role of Installation Manager (RI) according to SN EN 50110-1: maintain up-to-date technical documentation and ensure the required safety conditions before any intervention.

Your profile

• HES engineering degree in electrical engineering with an industrial orientation, or a title deemed equivalent,
• minimum 5 years of experience as a client representative, engineer, or project manager in the field of industrial electrical installations (MV/LV distribution, automation, control systems),
• very good knowledge of Swiss standards and regulations. NIBT, OIBT, ESTI. OFT is an asset,
• good knowledge of AIMP/RMP procedures (Geneva public procurement),
• mastery of French indispensable; English or German appreciated,
• pronounced open-mindedness and strong transversality: ability to collaborate with interlocutors from different professions and to adapt to varied projects beyond the strict electrical field,
• autonomy, rigor, and sense of responsibility; excellent analytical and communication skills, with the ability to popularize technical issues for non-specialist interlocutors,
• active technological curiosity, interest in developments in the field: supervision tools and predictive maintenance and the ability to derive concrete applications for the TPG real estate stock.
