EI&C Construction Lead (m/f/d)

As EI&C Construction Lead in Visp, you will lead on-site execution, manage specialized subcontractors, and act as the interface between engineering and operations for strategically important CAPEX projects for the production of life-saving medicines as part of a 12-month contract.

This is a fully site-based role. Personal collaboration on-site supports the close real-time cooperation and technical precision required to manufacture pharmaceuticals according to the highest quality and safety standards.

The compensation for this position is determined by the qualifications, skills, experience, and relevant knowledge of the candidate.

What you will do:

• Coordination of daily electrical, measurement, control, and regulation technology (EMSR/EI&I) construction activities on-site for the timely processing of CAPEX projects.
• Steering and monitoring of electrical, instrumentation, and automation contractors as well as suppliers at the site.
• Ensuring strict compliance with all specifications regarding occupational safety (HSE), GMP, quality, and technical standards.
• Verification of construction execution directly based on engineering drawings, piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), and electrical circuit diagrams.
• Interface management and close coordination between the teams from engineering, commissioning, and operations.
• Support during loop checks, functional tests, SAT (Site Acceptance Tests), punch-list rectification, and system handovers.
• Identification and resolution of technical and structural issues directly on-site to ensure project progress.

What you bring:

• Technical training or studies in the field of electrical engineering, automation, mechatronics, MSR technology, or a comparable discipline.
• Demonstrable experience in leading EI&I / EMSR construction activities in industrial, chemical, bio, or pharma CAPEX projects.
• Sound understanding of installation practices in electrical and MSR technology as well as the ability to read P&IDs and circuit diagrams confidently.
• Experience in leading contractors, subcontractors, and external partners on the construction site.
• Professional experience in a GMP-regulated environment is an advantage.
• Fluent German skills in speaking and writing are required; English skills are advantageous.
