Qualified Educator / Ecureuils Guéry

• Ensure accompaniment and educational support within a multidisciplinary team, with adolescents aged 15 to 18 living in a residential home
• Prepare young people for autonomy by accompanying them in daily learning, the progressive taking of responsibilities, and their integration
• Be open to the pedagogy of the connection of development and establish an educational relationship based on trust, emotional regulation, and the enhancement of each young person's potential
• Collaborate closely with placement services and families
• Actively participate in team colloquiums, network meetings, and supervisions.

• Irregular working hours (including nights and weekends).

Class: 13 or 15 according to the salary scale of the Etat de Genève

• Bachelor in social work (HETS) or Social Educator Diploma (ES) or University Bachelor (neighboring field of social work) with one year of full-time professional practice in a boarding school or IGE
• Foreign diplomas: requirement of official recognition by the SEFRI (or by a recognized equivalent organization)
• HETS trainer practitioner diploma, or being ready to follow the training (CAS/PF)
• Significant previous experience in the educational field with young adolescents
• Flexibility and ability to adapt quickly to varied audiences
• Autonomy, team spirit, and sense of initiative
• Knowledge and marked interest in nautical activities and equipment maintenance as educational supports
• Good knowledge of the Geneva social network
• Excellent writing skills in French.

Have a driving license (B)

Boat license (sailing and/or motor) is a plus

Be of Swiss nationality or benefit from a valid work permit.
