This is a 75% position including teaching within the framework of the bachelor's, master's, and doctoral studies programs in translation and multilingual communication of the FTI. The candidate will be called upon to supervise university master's theses and doctoral dissertations, to conduct research on a national as well as international scale in translation studies, notably in specialized translation, or in multilingual communication (within the research axes of the Department), and to obtain external funding. He/she may, in the long term, have to assume management and organizational tasks related to his/her function within the Department of Translation and the Faculty Required title and skills ----------------------------- * Doctorate (or equivalent title) in translation studies (or in a related field). * Native or cultural language (A language): French. * Working languages (B languages): English and at least one other language of the FTI, preferably Spanish. * Experience in teaching at the university level, notably in translation studies and specialized translation (preferably: literary translation or scientific and technical translation). * Experience in research supervision and a career showing coherence with the research axes of the Department. Scientific publications. * Proven experience in translation (preferably: literary translation or scientific and technical translation). * Expertise in digital communication, translation and communication technologies or specialized multilingual communication would be an asset. * Knowledge of virtual training tools (desirable).
