On behalf of one of our clients, a recognized player in the field of recycling and waste recovery in the canton of Geneva.

As the true right hand of management on the ground, you are the guarantor of the smooth running of the site, the management of teams, and daily operational performance. A local leader, you know how to unite your collaborators while ensuring compliance with production, quality, and safety objectives.

Your responsibilities
------------------------

Operational management of the site

• Supervise and coordinate all operational activities of the site.
• Organize human and material resources to ensure the smooth running of operations.
• Analyze field situations and implement appropriate solutions.
• Ensure an active presence on the ground to accompany and support the teams.

Team management

• Supervise, accompany, and motivate collaborators from the different operational sectors.
• Efficiently distribute tasks and control their proper execution.
• Develop a positive working climate and promote an entrepreneurial spirit.
• Ensure compliance with internal procedures, safety rules, and legal requirements.

Equipment and infrastructure management

• Ensure the management of the vehicle fleet and site equipment.
• Organize necessary maintenance, services, and repairs.
• Guarantee the cleanliness of the site as well as the good condition of machines and equipment.
• Supervise stocks, inventories, and the management of RPLP cards.

Quality, safety and compliance

• Guarantee the quality of goods entering and leaving the site.
• Participate in production analyses, controls, and tests.
• Ensure the application of regulations regarding safety, hygiene, and labor law.
• Be a proactive force in the continuous improvement of processes.

Versatility and operational support

• Occasionally ensure the replacement of various workstations, including weighing.
• Drive construction machinery and operate production installations as needed.
• Collaborate closely with commercial services and ensure the reporting of relevant information to management.

Your profile
----------------

• CFC as a recycler or training deemed equivalent.
• Proven experience in an industrial environment, ideally in recycling, waste management, or material recovery.
• Several years of experience in a role with operational or managerial responsibilities.
• Valid forklift license and experience in driving loaders.
• Excellent knowledge of field realities and strong operational orientation.
• Proficiency in standard IT tools (Windows, MS Office).
• Excellent command of French, any other language being an advantage.
