Founded in 2014, the Centre Neuchâtelois d'Ophtalmologie (CNO) is a reference medico-surgical center entirely dedicated to vision.

Its two-room operating block and integrated sterilization center operate under an ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 certified quality system. The guarantee of controlled requirement at every step of the patient journey.

Our team, composed of experienced FMH ophthalmologist specialists and ophthalmic surgeons, offers the latest medical and surgical advances adapted to each pathology.

Equipped with a state-of-the-art technical platform, the CNO offers care across several sites.

Following the departure of the current holder and in order to complete its Neuchâtel team, the CNO is looking for, for an immediate start or to be agreed upon, its future

Operating Room Manager 80-100 % (m/f)

As part of this function, the main missions are as follows:

• Direct and supervise the team while being operational, making use of technical experience and specialized operating room skills
• Ensure the management of staff planning, including the management of absences and replacements
• Prevent and manage conflicts, report and manage incidents
• Increase the attractiveness of the service by stimulating and motivating the team through a good working climate, while maintaining, adapting and developing professional skills to ensure quality of care and patient safety
• Be the guarantor of continuous training and the development of employee skills
• Manage operative planning
• Organize the service to offer quality care and welcome internal and external surgeons as well as their patients
• Collaborate with our anesthesia partners
• Manage medico-surgical material, guarantee supply and monitoring of stock management for consumables and implants
• Plan maintenance of high-tech equipment, guarantee its implementation as well as traceability
• Respect and enforce hygiene and safety rules
• Develop, apply and control procedures for pre-treatment, disinfection, and sterilization of reusable medical devices
• Develop and update procedures covering operating room and quality activities in order to maintain ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 certification
• Be responsible for the accuracy of patient billing data and its transmission to the billing department

Your profile

• You hold a HES nursing diploma (or title deemed equivalent as well as Red Cross Recognition in the case of a foreign diploma)
• You hold a specialization in the operating field
• You have completed training in sterilization - Level I and Level II
• You have experience in management or team leadership
• This position is intended for a dynamic, autonomous personality, having interpersonal skills, a sense of responsibility, organizational skills as well as team leadership skills
