Movement Constructor Continuous Improvement (M/F)

Mission

As part of this function, reporting to our Research & Development Division, your mission will be to sustainably improve the performance and quality of our existing products. You will also lead the redesign of horological components with the aim of guaranteeing the repair and longevity of all our old calibres by the International Customer Service (SCI), thus contributing to the preservation of our horological heritage and the satisfaction of our customers.

Responsibilities

• Independently conduct feasibility and construction studies of partial mechanisms ranging from basic mechanical movements to grande complications, including automatics, quartz, perpetual calendars, and chronographs.
• Ensure the management of a multidisciplinary project team by being the guarantor of the robustness of the proposed solution while respecting deadlines.
• Manage prototyping and qualification phases as well as the follow-up of improvement deployment in partnership with various services of the Division.
• Establish, manage, and monitor reporting on project progress in collaboration with the line manager.

Profile sought

• Bachelor in microtechnology, specialization in horological construction.
• 5 years of experience in movement construction in the high-end watchmaking field.
• Very good knowledge of horological theory as well as horological construction and manufacturing processes.
• Mastery of CAD (ideally Solidworks), NIHS standards, and GPS dimensioning.
• Rigor, precision, sense of analysis and synthesis.
• Proactive, autonomy, resilience.
• Interpersonal skills, team spirit, sense of diplomacy.
• Pragmatism, results-oriented and field-oriented.
• Ease of adaptation within project teams.
