The company trades a broad portfolio of international FMCG and consumer goods products and works with partners from retail and wholesale. For the further expansion of the Swiss business, we are looking for an entrepreneurial personality who brings enjoyment to active sales and dynamic trading business.

Job Description ##

• Active identification and acquisition of new customers and trading partners in the Swiss FMCG market
• Building and further developing business relationships with retailers, wholesalers and other distribution partners
• Identification of attractive trading opportunities, new products and additional sales channels
• Independent conduct of sales talks as well as negotiation of prices, conditions and trading deals
• Analysis of market trends, product availability and price developments to unlock new business opportunities
• Close cooperation with purchasing, Category Management and management to successfully implement trading deals
• Step-by-step assumption of additional responsibility for own customers, product categories and trading activities

The Successful Applicant ##

• Completed commercial training or business administration studies or comparable qualification
• Initial to several years of professional experience in the FMCG environment, ideally in B2B sales, trading, wholesale or business development
• Good understanding of the Swiss consumer goods market; existing contacts to Swiss retailers are an advantage, but not a requirement
• Strong commercial thinking, negotiation skills and a proactive, entrepreneurial personality with enjoyment in acquisition and closing deals
• Very good German and English skills; other languages are an advantage
