Road Vehicle Specialist

On behalf of our client, a major player in public transport in the canton of Vaud, we are looking for a Road Vehicle Specialist.

Your missions

Within the Road and Real Estate Directorate, you will contribute to the management and technical monitoring of the passenger vehicle fleet.

Your main responsibilities will be as follows:

• Ensure contractual monitoring related to vehicles and implement the indicators necessary for steering the activity.
• Participate in acquisition and renewal projects for the rolling stock.
• Analyze the technical documentation of new vehicles and prepare summaries intended for the business teams.
• Collaborate closely with the methods and maintenance teams in order to support technical evolutions.
• Participate in the review and improvement of certain internal processes.
• Ensure the administrative and technical management of various equipment and systems related to the vehicle fleet.
• Monitor performance indicators and contribute to the continuous improvement of activities.

Your profile

• CFC as a mechanic, automation technician or equivalent technical training.
• Additional training in a technical field, an asset.
• Experience in a technical environment, maintenance, asset management or operational coordination.
• Experience in participating in or monitoring technical projects.
• Very good analytical and synthesis skills.
• Excellent mastery of Excel and good mastery of standard office tools.
• Knowledge of SAP constitutes an advantage.
• Excellent organizational skills and ease in coordinating various interlocutors.
• Good knowledge of French, both spoken and written.
