On-Premises System Technical Architect (f/m/d)

On behalf of our client based in Prill, we are looking for an On-Premises System Technical Architect (f/m/d) responsible for designing, evolving, and standardizing system infrastructures, while supporting modernization projects and ensuring the consistency of technical architectures.

Your mission

• Design and evolve on-premises system architectures, covering Microsoft, Linux, and VMware environments, SAN/NAS storage infrastructures, backup solutions, and high availability.
• Support technical and business teams in analyzing their needs, defining target architectures, and carrying out technical studies, impact analyses, and recommendations.
• Define and document standards, architecture principles, and best practices to contribute to the standardization, rationalization, and modernization of infrastructure platforms.
• Guarantee the consistency of technological choices with security, resilience, and operational requirements, by ensuring their integration with network, security, and IAM architectures.
• Collaborate closely with the infrastructure architect, Systems, Network, IAM, and Security teams, as well as project managers, while ensuring knowledge transfer and supporting operational teams.

Your profile

• Higher education in computer science or equivalent qualification, with proven experience of 7 to 10 years in enterprise IT infrastructures, including several years in system technical architecture.
• Excellent mastery of Microsoft environments (Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, hybrid Azure, PowerShell), Linux systems, and VMware virtualization platforms.
• Solid expertise in SAN/NAS storage infrastructures, backup solutions, high availability, and disaster recovery, as well as good knowledge of enterprise networks (LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, DNS, DHCP, Load Balancing).
• Proven experience in designing complex architectures, defining technical standards, rationalizing infrastructures, and integrating security, resilience, and operational requirements.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and technical writing skills, with an ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and support architecture decisions.
