Site Manager - Machinist (M/F) at 100%

Ronchi SA is a company specialized for over a century in the treatment and distribution of stone materials. Over time, we have developed great experience in the management of gravel pits, quarries and controlled landfills, mainly of type A (unpolluted excavation materials) and B (inert materials).

As part of the reinforcement of our "Management and Operation of controlled landfills" sector, we are looking for our site in Eysins, a/an :

Site Manager - Machinist (M/F) at 100% - Eysins

Your challenges:

In connection with the operations manager, you will ensure the operation of machines as well as the daily management of the site, namely:

Management, reception and control of flows (Inbound Manager):

• Welcome, guide and advise drivers upon their arrival on the site
• Ensure the traceability of inputs and basic administrative tasks related to registration
• Supervise weighings on the automated weighbridge and ensure the proper IT follow-up of entry data (delivery notes)
• Perform rigorous visual and olfactory control of the compliance of unloaded waste, in strict respect of Vaudois criteria and the Waste Ordinance (OLED)
• Identify and firmly refuse non-compliant or polluted materials

Machine operation and handling (Machinist role):

• Execute all appropriate handling for unloading, coarse sorting and depositing of materials
• Drive construction machinery on site (hydraulic excavator, crawler loader, bulldozer, compactor)
• Ensure the leveling, compaction and geometric shaping of storage cells according to the backfilling plan
• Ensure the maintenance of cleanliness of access tracks, the weighbridge, site surroundings and the limitation of dust

Maintenance, upkeep and safety:

• Perform first-level maintenance of machinery (levels, greasing, cleaning of filters) and ensure the proper functioning of the weighbridge
• Apply and enforce safety and environmental protection rules
• Manage operations in total autonomy on a daily basis (opening, closing and securing the site)

Your profile:

• Proven experience as a construction machinist (M2/M3/M6/M7 machinist permits mandatory, recognized by SUVA)
• Practical knowledge of construction waste regulations in Switzerland (OLED, Vaudois directives of the DGE)
• Great autonomy, high sense of responsibility and ability to work alone on site reliably
• Very good interpersonal skills for contact with clients, agricultural operations and the neighborhood
