Business Intelligence Manager at 100 % (ref: 2029)

Do you wish to combine BI expertise, proximity to business functions, and strategic impact in an environment undergoing full transformation?

Created six years ago, the Business Intelligence function of l-Hôpital de La Tour today supports more than 100 users by means of more than 100 dashboards, powered by a dozen source systems.

The function is entering a new phase of its development: migration of the data platform, reinforcement of external data, predictive analytics, and the creation of a portal intended for physicians.

Reporting to the CFO, you are the preferred interlocutor of the institution on BI topics. You ensure the continuity of the unit while structuring its evolution and strengthening the place of data in decision-making processes.

Your role #

At the interface between strategy, technology, and business, you drive a high-impact BI activity and transform data into concrete decision-making levers.

Steering and development of BI ##

  • Collect business needs and develop new Power BI dashboards in connection with the Hospital's strategy.
  • Evolve data sources with the DSIO and contribute to the migration of the platform.
  • Contribute to the development of predictive analytics and the physician portal.
  • Strengthen the structure by recruiting a deputy and an intern.

Analysis and decision support ##

  • Perform ad hoc and strategic analyses, particularly on billing, patient flows, and staffing efficiency.
  • Present analyses to management and contribute to the steering of the institution.
  • Automate processing and statistical production, notably OFS and REKOLE.
  • Intervene in various areas: finance, billing, human resources, inpatient and outpatient care, pharmacy, medical coding, purchasing, quality, and medico-technical.

Data governance and quality ##

  • Manage access rights and data security: groups, roles, and filters by perimeter.
  • Ensure maintenance of dashboards, quality controls, and necessary corrections.
  • Accompany users in the interpretation of data and respond to the daily requests of the services.
  • Implement a ticketing system to structure and prioritize requests.

Why join this project? #

  • Take responsibility for a BI function already solidly established in the institution.
  • Drive a new stage of transformation of the data platform.
  • Work in direct contact with general management, controlling, the DSIO, and department heads.
  • Contribute to decisions having a concrete impact on medical, administrative, and operational activities.
  • Develop a team and sustainably structure the BI activity.
  • Join a private, independent, and human-scale establishment.

Your profile #

  • University or HES Master's or Bachelor's in computer science, management information systems, statistics, economics, or an equivalent field.
  • Minimum five years of experience in business intelligence or data analysis. Experience in the health sector is an asset.
  • Proficiency in SQL and a dashboarding tool such as Power BI, Qlik, Looker, or Tableau.
  • Proficiency in R or Python and good proficiency in Excel.
  • Ability to understand business challenges and to communicate with non-specialist interlocutors.
  • Rigor, autonomy, sense of priorities, and discretion.
  • Excellent command of French.
