As Safety & Health Manager, you will be responsible for developing the S&H strategy and leading its implementation. You will guide the site management team on all aspects of Safety and Health and you will strengthen safety leadership at all levels of the organization. You will also have the mission to maintain and review S&H management systems at the site level, in compliance with international standards and norms.

How will you have an impact as a Safety & Health Manager?

• Identify S&H priorities and opportunities, develop the strategy and ensure its implementation
• Advise, coach and provide support to the management, managers and project teams of the site and strengthen safety leadership at all levels of the organization
• Build strong relationships with contractors on S&H topics throughout projects
• Implement, control and ensure the maintenance of ISO certifications and their integration with quality ISO / OSHAS
• Participate in risk analyses, follow non-compliant situations, audits and potential accidents and near misses, analyze causes and develop corrective measures
• Implement information tools, communication and prevention campaigns
• Be the guarantor of process compliance, respect and proactively enforce the policy, regulations and instructions related to occupational safety and occupational health.

What will make you successful

• Higher or qualified professional education
• CFST safety engineer, STPS Federal Diploma or equivalent recognized in Switzerland
• Significant experience in the fields of safety and health in a production environment
• Successful experience in hierarchical management, project or cross-functional teams
• Mastery of ISO standards, OSHAS and the Swiss legal framework
• Influential leadership, excellent coaching and communication skills
• Ability to translate standards into concrete action plans and to analyze complex problems
• Initiative and ability to promote a culture of safety and operational excellence
• Mastery of French and English.
