Context
--------

The Centre hospitalier universitaire vaudois (CHUV) is one of the five Swiss university hospitals and is among the best hospital establishments in the world according to the Newsweek 2025 ranking. Thanks to its collaboration with the Faculty of Biology and Medicine of the Université de Lausanne and the EPFL, it plays a leading role in the fields of care, research, and training.

More than 600 cleaning and hygiene agents ensure every day the disinfection of hospital premises, care areas, offices, and transit areas, by applying rigorous protocols according to current sanitary standards.

By joining our Service propreté et hygiène, you integrate into a professional, dynamic, and multicultural team, whose services contribute concretely to the quality of care.

Mission
-------

• You ensure the cleaning and disinfection of surfaces, premises, and equipment while respecting strict hospital standards
• You prepare and use material, appliances, and maintenance products according to their use, their danger, and the surfaces to be treated
• You learn to manipulate specialized machines, such as scrubber-driers or single-disc machines
• You participate in waste sorting and the monitoring of cleaning material stocks
• You ensure the maintenance and tidiness of technical premises, while respecting safety and hygiene instructions
• You contribute every day to maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for patients and collaborators.

Profile
------

• You have completed your compulsory schooling
• You are motivated by manual work, rigorous, punctual, and organized
• You demonstrate a marked interest in hygiene, cleanliness, and service
• You are comfortable working in a team
• You have good physical condition
• You master spoken and written French (minimum level B1.)
