Manager (M/F) of public transport supply planning at 50-100% (fixed-term contract)

Mission
As part of a temporary replacement within the Section de la mobilité et des transports, you will plan the public transport supply in the canton du Jura in the short, medium, and long term. You will design the evolution of the regional passenger transport supply by rail and road based on needs and opportunities, existing planning instruments, the available financial framework, and other possible constraints. You will also monitor the supply planning on the national network. You will develop and analyze service proposals and timetable variants, particularly for the period . You will coordinate planning work internally within the section, with neighboring cantons, and with transport companies. You will monitor mandates entrusted to third parties. Regarding infrastructure, you will monitor the development of projects within the cantonal territory. You will coordinate the preparation of cantonal positions within the framework of railway plan approval procedures. Generally, you will contribute to other tasks of the section and prepare decision-making bases for the authorities. The duration of the engagement and the activity rate will be defined together and according to possibilities.
Profile
You possess a HE or university degree at master's level in civil engineering, preferably specialized in transport and mobility, or training deemed equivalent. You benefit from 2 to 4 years of professional experience in public transport planning. You have good knowledge of the functioning of public transport in Switzerland (planning, operation, etc.) or a very strong interest in this field of work. Equipped with an excellent sense of organization and priorities, you have solid project management skills. Your sense of analysis and negotiation, as well as your interpersonal skills, make you an effective and appreciated interlocutor for your work partners. You have a good oral and written understanding of German.
