Your contribution

• Take responsibility for the availability, stability, and security of the ICT systems that enable the operations of the F-35A
• Analyze the most complex malfunctions to identify their cause, resolve them within the framework of incident and problem management, and define sustainable preventive measures
• Implement security directives within the scope of operations; this includes, among other things, strengthening system security, vulnerability and patch management, as well as collaboration within the framework of security controls and authorizations
• Automate and further develop configuration management, deployment and patch processes, as well as the monitoring of system operations
• Manage technical coordination with the manufacturer, suppliers, international program partners, and Air Force teams
• Evaluate technical developments and proposed changes in terms of repercussions on operations, security, and regulatory compliance, as well as develop and introduce appropriate solutions

What distinguishes you

• Bachelor in computer science or equivalent training and several years of experience in operating complex ICT environments with high security requirements
• Solid experience in administering Windows server and application environments, including Active Directory, patch and version management, as well as troubleshooting up to the application level
• Excellent knowledge in the field of virtualization and disaster recovery (Hyper-V, VMware), as well as backup and recovery processes for physical and virtual systems
• In-depth knowledge in the field of network and database administration as well as in the practical implementation of security directives (firewall, security hardening, vulnerability remediation)
• Experience in automating operational tasks (e.g., PowerShell, configuration management) as well as in the analysis and further development of technical processes
• Autonomous and analytical way of working as well as good active knowledge of a second official language and good knowledge of technical English

In summary

In the F-35A program, you will be responsible for the ICT systems that make the use of the fighter aircraft possible. A task for which there are only a few specialists in Switzerland. As part of the Cyber Command, you will work in a classified environment, in close contact with the Air Force, the manufacturer, and the international partners of the program. Your work will directly impact the operational readiness of the Air Force and, consequently, the security of Switzerland.

Complementary information

CompTIA Security+ and Network+ certifications represent an advantage. Knowledge of military conduct and deployment processes also constitutes a preferential qualification. Systems are in operation 24 hours a day; on-call services and assignments during the weekend are part of the function. To carry out assignments at different locations, a category B driver's license is required.
