The contribution you can make

• Collaborate on weekly and medium-term work planning
• Prepare and deliver instructional systems; plan and prepare the material and consumables necessary for operation, including stock management, purchasing of means, and inventory maintenance
• Organize the use of vehicles and special machinery; plan and execute external landscaping works and maintenance of basic installations
• Monitor, ensure maintenance, and operation of technical installations, related systems, and infrastructure material; ensure the continuation and execution of work by the assigned personnel and partner companies
• Provide training to employees as well as to customers

What distinguishes you

AFC in a technical field, such as building and infrastructure operator, or equivalent training with a professional certificate as a caretaker

• In-depth professional and technical conduct experience
• Sense of organization, team spirit and customer orientation - Ability to work efficiently and conscientiously
• Ability to think analytically, to quickly identify main problems and to propose adequate solutions. Ability to define priorities
• Good computer skills (MS-Office and SAP) as well as good knowledge of a second official language

Category C driving license and forklift license are an advantage

The Swiss Army Logistics Base (BLEs) is available to the troops. It provides all logistical services for the Swiss Army and, with its approximately 3500 employees and 12000 militia soldiers, manages the material, systems, and infrastructure of the Swiss Army.
