Apply now

For more than 60 years, we have been committed to International Organizations by offering them ideal administrative and conference spaces. A concrete and active expression of the policies of the host State of the Swiss Confederation and that of the Canton of Geneva, the Fondation des Immeubles pour les Organisations Internationales (FIPOI) offers a series of services intended to facilitate the settlement and activities of international organizations establishing themselves in Geneva. To design, manage, and maintain them in compliance with the highest quality standards we set for ourselves, we can rely on the skills and commitment of a high-performing team of about sixty employees.

FIPOI's Real Estate Department maintains and evolves the buildings made available to international organizations in Geneva. The Foundation is now entering an important investment phase to renovate its portfolio and adapt it to the needs of its users.

As part of the creation of a new position, we are looking for:

PMO Manager - Real Estate Projects 100%

Your mission

Based near the Place des Nations, reporting to the Real Estate Department and supporting the Head of the Projects Sector, you will structure and monitor the Foundation's investment project portfolio. You will work in direct contact with project managers and FIPOI beneficiaries.

Your responsibilities

  • Participate in the programming and prioritization of operations, in the short and medium term.
  • Ensure the technical and financial monitoring of the portfolio: costs, deadlines, risks, public procurement, and reporting.
  • Develop, harmonize, and deploy common management methods, tools, and processes.
  • Support project managers on a daily basis and evolve the department's project culture.
  • Conduct small to medium-sized projects yourself: coordination of consultants, companies, and stakeholders, from studies to commissioning, in compliance with the legal framework and set objectives.

Your profile

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree level (technical, administrative, or legal).
  • At least 5 years of experience as a PMO, project manager, project buyer, or project coordinator in building, real estate, or construction.
  • Good understanding of building project processes, public procurement, and contractual monitoring.
  • Assets: knowledge of Geneva institutions, building permits, and the Swiss construction environment (SIA standards, CFC, public procurement), experience in coordinating multidisciplinary mandates and renovation operations.
  • Comfort with numbers and data analysis.
  • Organized, precise, and autonomous, you enjoy collaborating with diverse interlocutors and have strong writing skills.
  • Perfect command of French; English is an advantage.

Why join us?

Joining FIPOI means joining an organization at the heart of international Geneva, carrying a mission of public interest and evolving in a stimulating multicultural environment.

FIPOI has been certified Great Place to Work® since 2021, a recognition that reflects its lasting commitment to a working climate based on trust, respect, collaboration, and skill development.

It offers attractive working conditions, a stable and demanding professional framework, as well as the opportunity to be part of a long-term project serving international organizations established in Geneva.

Application

If you recognize yourself in this description and are ready to take on this challenge with talent and commitment, we look forward to receiving your application (CV and cover letter) via the JobUp platform. Application deadline is October 30, 2026.
