Committed to the quality of public service, the Ville de La Chaux-de-Fonds is looking for a:

Head of games, furniture and marking sector

Your mission / You are in charge of the planning and management of carpentry maintenance work - maintenance of communal wooden infrastructure - and painting - maintenance work on furniture and road markings. You manage urban furniture throughout its entire life cycle as well as its renewal. You participate in the design and choices of playgrounds and manage their maintenance. You guarantee the use of playgrounds in compliance with safety rules.

Your profile / Personal skills / You hold a CFC as a carpenter, painter or an equivalent qualification. You hold the title of BPA safety delegate and a qualification as a specialist in playgrounds or are ready to be trained quickly on the job. You master common office software and benefit from confirmed experience in team management, ideally supervising more than 5 collaborators, and possess natural leadership as well as the ability to make firm decisions, to assume your responsibilities while enforcing safety and operational rules. Being organized by nature, you are able to plan, distribute work, and manage priorities, while knowing how to adapt resources to requirements. You have the experience and aptitude to drive and coordinate work, which can be carried out both internally and in collaboration with external companies. Solid practical knowledge and proven technical versatility in the fields of carpentry, painting, general maintenance and repair are necessary in order to be able to evaluate technical feasibility and guarantee the quality of the works.
