„englischgruss – leben im alter“ is a modern retirement and nursing home in the center of Brig-Glis. We care for and nurse 121 residents and employ a total of 170 employees.

As part of the succession planning for the home management, we are looking for, by agreement, as soon as possible, a committed, entrepreneurially-minded personality with high social competence who will lead our institution into the future with foresight, innovative power, and social responsibility.

Your main tasks

• Overall responsibility for the operational management of the institution
• Further development of the facility with regard to future requirements of long-term care
• Ensuring high-quality care and support
• Leadership, promotion, and development of the department heads and employees
• Responsibility for financial planning, budgeting, and controlling
• Representation of the institution towards authorities, partner organizations, and the public
• Cultivation of an open and trusting cooperation with residents, relatives, and employees

Your profile

• Higher education in business administration, management, or comparable qualification
• Several years of leadership experience, preferably in healthcare or in a work environment with elderly people
• Further training in the health and nursing sector (NDS, MAS) is an advantage
• Strategic thinking as well as enjoyment in actively helping to shape change processes
• Appreciative, binding, and motivating leadership style
• High social competence and pronounced communication skills
