PRESENTATION OF THE INSTITUTION

At the Maison d’Enfants de Penthaz, we welcome children and adolescents presenting psycho-affective, relational, and developmental vulnerabilities, which make family life and social integration difficult. We offer global educational support, integrating individual, family, school, and social dimensions, and based on an engaged, thoughtful, and containing educational presence.

Our institution is organized around two distinct living groups: a children's group welcoming children aged 4 to 12 and an adolescents' group welcoming young people aged 12 to 16.

The proposed position is within the children's group, open from 1 July 2026, which has since progressively begun welcoming children. In this new stage of its development, we wish to complete the educational team in order to continue the consolidation of the educational project, daily routines, and team dynamics.

We are thus looking for a social educator at 90 % wishing to invest themselves with children aged 4 to 12 and take an active part in the development of this living group, within a dynamic, reflexive, and participatory institutional approach.

A SOCIAL EDUCATOR PERMANENT POSITION – 90 %

WE ARE LOOKING FOR A PERSON

• Graduated in social education (ES, HES or SEFRI recognition for foreign diplomas).
• Motivated, demanding, reliable, smiling and creative.
• Open-minded, showing initiative and humor
• Having experience in supporting children aged 4 to 12 in an institutional context
• Wishing to join a recently opened group and actively contribute to the consolidation of its functioning, its routines, and its team dynamics
• Having a strong interest in multidisciplinary and networked teamwork
• Capable of perspective-taking, introspection, and analysis of their professional practice
• Knowing how to face challenges, cultivating relationships through presence and mutual recognition.
• Possessing strong relational qualities, favoring an educational relationship based on presence, listening, authenticity, and mutual recognition, including in group animation and work with families.
• With systemic training (an asset).
• Holder of a driver's license
