Join the Fondation des Maisons de Retraite du district d’Aigle, a human institution of 240 employees that manages 190 beds and 28 places in a Centre d'Accueil Temporaire (CAT). A major player in health in the Chablais vaudois, our foundation is constantly evolving, notably with the construction of a new establishment in Bex planned for 2028. Your missions
Ensure daily care and support: Perform basic care and accompany the resident in daily life activities, promoting their autonomy, comfort, and well-being while ensuring their safety.
Observe and transmit: Be attentive to the evolution of the resident's general state and transmit relevant observations to the team.
Promote the maintenance of autonomy: Encourage the resident's abilities and adapt support to their needs, habits, and resources.
Collaborate within the interdisciplinary team: Actively participate in the continuity of coherent and personalized support.
Ensure traceability: Document care, observations, and necessary information in the resident's computerized file (DIR/Carefolio)
Required profile
Interest in the elderly: Marked interest in geriatrics and psychogeriatrics; experience in an EMS is an asset.
Professional posture: Benevolence, listening, patience, discretion, and respect for the dignity and choices of the resident.
Autonomy and sense of responsibility: Ability to organize one's work, respect one's scope of competence, and consult the nursing team when the situation requires it.
Team spirit and adaptability: Ease in working within an interdisciplinary team, capacity for adaptation, and a constructive attitude.
Digital skills: Ease with IT tools and the documentation of care in the resident's computerized file (DIR/Carefolio)
Level of training
Swiss Red Cross (CRS) Health Care Assistant certificate required or equivalence recognized by the Swiss Red Cross.
