For our establishment Tertianum le Byron in Villeneuve (VD), we are looking for, starting from 1 February 2027, a

Head of the socio-cultural service at 80-100 %

Your role

As head of the socio-cultural service, you are the engine and the inspirer of a team composed of professionals and apprentices. Your role is to guide, support, mobilize and develop your collaborators, in order to guarantee a socio-cultural offering and meaningful projects, adapted to the capacities, wishes and resources of each resident.

Your main responsibilities

• Design, organize and evolve the socio-cultural concept of the establishment in coherence with the other sectors of the establishment and the Tertianum philosophy.
• Build and structure the service processes, then ensure their appropriation, monitoring and continuous improvement.
• Actively participate in the proposed activities
• Support and develop the team, value skills, complementarities and propose a clear, respectful, collaborative and motivating work environment.
• Organize and plan work in compliance with labor legislation, the CCT San and Tertianum directives.
• Initiate and follow individual projects in collaboration with care and other sectors, by valuing the capacities, resources and wishes of each resident.
• Organize a diversified offering, which meets the needs and wishes of residents and takes their resources into account: individual and collective activities, events, outings and projects promoting social links and openness to the outside.
• Maintain a relationship of trust with residents and their loved ones, based on listening, empathy and respect.
• Train, accompany and support apprentices and interns
• Collaborate actively with the teams in interdisciplinarity, participate in and develop the life of the establishment
• Represent the service to external partners and during audits.
• Collaborate closely with management and ensure the monitoring of the service's budgetary objectives.

Your profile

• CFC as ASE, social educator diploma or equivalent training.
• Proven experience with elderly people; experience in psychogeriatrics or psychiatric rehabilitation is an asset.
• Successful experience in team management and leadership oriented towards support, empowerment and development.
• Corporate trainer certification is an asset
• Good knowledge of labor legislation and the CCT San
• Particular sensitivity to the person-centered approach and the valorization of their resources.
• Taste for creation, project building and process structuring.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, empathy and ease in relations with residents, loved ones and teams.
• Curiosity, open-mindedness, creativity and very good command of French; German and English are an asset.
