Samvaz SA is a family business active since 1964 in metal machining in Chatel-St-Denis (Fribourg). The company has grown by developing, manufacturing, and marketing its own products, such as PIPEX® fasteners, the SAM® formwork system, RALI® planes, and TERSA® planing shafts, which are distributed in Switzerland, Europe, and throughout the world. The company employs approximately 140 collaborators in total. As an important economic actor, Samvaz SA also has a social responsibility that it assumes, notably with a large photovoltaic park, its wood waste-based heating, and the subcontracting of some operations to sheltered workshops in the region.

Industrial Buyer (FR/DE) 100% (M/F/D) ##

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Analyze purchasing needs, launch consultations and calls for tender, negotiate prices and commercial conditions
• Research and develop new suppliers, evaluate their performance, and maintain relationships with strategic suppliers
• Monitor price and market developments, identify and implement cost optimization opportunities
• Prepare and monitor supplier contracts and establish purchasing reporting
• Manage non-conformities and implement corrective actions

YOUR PROFILE

• You have perfect command of French, German, or Swiss German
• You hold a CFC commercial employee or an equivalent training considered in purchasing
• You have proven experience of a minimum of 5 years in the metal industry sector
• You demonstrate rigor, good organizational skills, and excellent negotiation skills
• You are autonomous, solution-oriented, and possess an analytical mind
