French as a Foreign Language Teacher for Children (A1) – Le Mont-sur-Lausanne

Flying Teachers is currently looking for a French as a foreign language teacher to provide two individual in-person courses for two children in Le Mont-sur-Lausanne.

Type of course: French for children – beginner level A1
Start: as soon as possible or by arrangement
Location: 1052 Le Mont-sur-Lausanne
Format: in-person courses
Number of participants: 2 children, as part of separate individual courses
Frequency: 2 sessions per week per child
Duration: 30 hours per child, i.e., 20 sessions of 90 minutes
Level: A1 – beginner

Course 1 – 11-year-old child
Level: A1 – Beginner 1
Preferred schedule: Wednesday and Friday, from 19:00 to 20:30
Alternative schedules: Tuesday and Thursday, or Monday and Wednesday, from 19:00 to 20:30
Start: as soon as possible

Course 2 – 9-year-old child
Level: A1 – Beginner 1
Native language: Kazakh
Preferred schedule: Tuesday and Thursday, from 19:00 to 20:30
Alternative schedule: Monday and Wednesday, from 19:00 to 20:30
Start: as soon as possible

Profile sought

• French native language or C2 level
• SVEB certificate or equivalent qualification
• Teaching experience
• Experience in teaching children is an asset
• Good ability to plan and structure lessons
• Learner-centered pedagogical approach
• Ability to identify learners' needs
• Regular monitoring of progress
• Good communication with our administrative team
• Residence in the Lausanne region and a valid work permit in Switzerland
