On behalf of our client based in Granges-Paccot, we are looking for an Infrastructure System Engineer (f/m/d) responsible for ensuring the administration, maintenance, and evolution of the IT infrastructure of a power plant in a critical high-availability environment.

Your mission

• Ensure the administration, maintenance, and evolution of server infrastructures and associated services in an On-Premise environment.
• Guarantee the security, reliability, and availability of systems, particularly under Windows Server, Red Hat Enterprise Linux, and PostgreSQL.
• Participate in the supervision of infrastructures as well as the diagnosis and treatment of level 2 and 3 incidents.
• Contribute to projects for the evolution and modernization of infrastructures, notably around Active Directory, Graylog, and OpenShift containerized environments.
• Document the architectures and solutions implemented and participate, as needed, in the 24/7 IT on-call rotation approximately once every 7 weeks, with a capacity to intervene within a 30-minute radius.

Your profile

• Higher education in computer science at HES, University, EPF, federal certificate or diploma level, or training deemed equivalent.
• Proven experience in the administration of critical production systems, with excellent mastery of Windows client and server environments and their On-Premise integration; experience in an emergency services environment is an asset.
• Excellent mastery of PostgreSQL and Red Hat Enterprise Linux, complemented by proven experience in OpenShift and containerization.
• Very good knowledge of server infrastructures, Active Directory, logging and supervision tools such as Graylog, as well as security and networking principles.
• Excellent oral and written communication in French, technical knowledge in German and English, autonomy, sense of responsibility and ability to occasionally lead technical projects; clean criminal record and ability to pass the required security clearance. Residence in French-speaking Switzerland.
