Cashier – Hourly contract for a duration of 6 months, with the possibility of extension to a fixed-term contract

Introduction

Join the dynamic team of Casino du Lac Meyrin SA as a Cashier.

In this role, you will be responsible for all cash operations, ensuring strict compliance with internal procedures, legal requirements, particularly regarding anti-money laundering (LBA), as well as current security standards.

You will also contribute to offering our clientele a professional, courteous, and personalized welcome, while guaranteeing reliable, rigorous, and confidential service.

The position is offered as an hourly contract for a duration of 6 months, with the possibility of extension to a fixed-term contract.

Responsibilities

As a Cashier, your main missions will be:

• Ensure cash and exchange operations (payment of winnings, purchase/sale of chips, foreign currencies, TITO, credit cards).
• Verify the authenticity of banknotes and coins, and guarantee clear counting.
• Apply the procedures of the Anti-Money Laundering Law (identification, registration of clients and transactions), while ensuring a professional welcome and continuous observation of clientele, and reporting any unusual behavior or act to the Members of the Executive Committee and the LBA Manager.
• Strictly apply security rules and professional discretion.
• Ensure compliance with the ISO 9001 standard.

Qualifications

We are looking for a candidate meeting the following criteria:

• Experience in a cashier position, ideally in a regulated environment.
• Good mastery of financial procedures and a keen sense of responsibility.
• Rigor, integrity, and team spirit.
• Sense of customer service and excellent presentation.
• Proficiency in French, English is an asset.
